Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the Fast Forward Evolution app ("the app") and fastforwardevolution.com ("the website") handle, and why. Both are run by Fast Forward Evolution LLC ("we"). The short version: the app has no accounts, your health and fitness data stays on your phone, and we never sell your information.
1. Data that stays on your phone
Everything you track in the app — fasts, meals, weight, body measurements, workouts, water, ketone and glucose readings, heart-rate readings, achievements and reward points — is stored only on your device. We don't have a copy and can't see it. Deleting the app, or using Hub › Profile › Reset Everything, erases it. Exports and backups you create are files you control.
2. Camera
The camera is used to scan food barcodes and to take a heart-rate reading with your fingertip over the lens and flashlight. Images are processed on your phone in real time and are never saved or sent anywhere. Only the result (a barcode number or a heart rate) is used.
3. Apple Health and Health Connect (optional)
If you choose to connect Apple Health (iPhone) or Health Connect (Android), the app reads your weight and step count and can save the weights you log. This data is used only inside the app on your phone. It is never sent to us or anyone else, never used for advertising, and never sold. You can disconnect at any time in the app or in your phone's Health settings.
4. Watch and widgets (optional)
If you use the Apple Watch or Wear OS app, or a home-screen widget, your current fast (start time, goal and fat-burn status) is shared between your phone and your own watch or widget. It doesn't leave your devices.
5. What the app sends over the internet
- Food search and barcode lookups: the words you search or the barcode number you scan are sent to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's FoodData Central and to Open Food Facts to find nutrition information. Nothing that identifies you is included.
- The Shop: the app loads business listings from our database (Google Firebase). If you report a listing, the report includes the reason and a random ID created by the app so the same phone can't report the same listing twice. It doesn't identify you.
- Notifications you turn on are scheduled on your phone.
- Usage statistics: the app currently collects none. If we ever add anonymous usage statistics, we will update this policy first and give you a way to turn them off.
6. Businesses using the Shop portal
Businesses that create a profile on the website give us their sign-in email address, the profile and listing details they enter, and photos they upload. We use these to run the Shop, review businesses and contact them about their account. Payments for paid plans are handled by Stripe; we receive payment status but not full card details. Businesses can delete their account at any time from the portal.
7. Sharing
We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. We share information only with the service providers named above to make the app and Shop work, or when the law requires it.
8. Children
The app is for adults 18 and over and is not directed at children. If you believe a child has given us information through the website, contact us and we'll delete it.
9. Your choices and rights
You control your app data directly on your phone. For anything we hold (Shop business accounts and listing reports), you can ask us for a copy, a correction or deletion by emailing us. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights, which we will honor.
